I’m Patrícia Valente​,​ founder of Tradição Valente – Ganadaria Bruno Rocha. I’m 32 years old​,​ trained in business​,​ and proud to run a project that blends deep Azorean roots with modern values. This isn’t just a farm—it’s a living tradition. Our ganadaria was born from a passion for animals​,​ rural culture​,​ and doing things the right way. We welcome guests to experience what real Azorean life looks like: from the bulls and brave cows to piglets​,​ geese​,​ and even our famous “vaca mestra​,​” Dourada. I personally guide the visits​,​ showing how we raise and care for each animal with respect and without cruelty. We don’t do arena bullfighting. We don’t use hot irons. Here​,​ animals live with dignity​,​ drink clean water​,​ and are part of something bigger than entertainment—they’re part of our heritage. This is my life's work.
